With more than 30 years media industry experience, I have worked on leading regional titles, most notably as Travel Editor, Head of Features and Assistant Editor for The Birmingham Post. My talent with words has seen me writing countless websites and blogs for both national and international publications and brands.

After two decades working on newspapers - moving my way up from trainee reporter to editor - I turned freelance in 2003. I have built an enviable reputation in the region as a leading lifestyle writer, PR consultant and social media manager working with a number of top luxury brands including Harvey Nichols, Heaven Skincare, The Mailbox and Radisson SAS hotels.
With a passion for words, I have developed and taught MBA and BSc Business Communication courses at The University of Birmingham, worked with primary schools as part of the city's Write On project and organised career sessions with local schools to encourage pupils to consider writing as a profession.
I work closely with PR agencies and with my own clients to provide copy for press releases, brochures, blogs and websites and write regularly for lifestyle magazines in the region, including Dluxe, Sixty9, Staffordshire Living, Staffordshire Alumni and Jaime.
